It seems like our lives are measured by milestones.

You’re born, become a teenager, get your driver's license, graduate high school, maybe go to college, get married, etc... and so much of the story in between gets forgotten. You can read the chapter titles in a book and get a vague idea of what’s going on, but those details—the emotion, the character development, the things in between—are what helps us connect and weave the pieces together.

Let's normalize documenting those moments in between. Let’s normalize taking photos because you want to.

You purchased your first home together? BIG DEAL ALERT! Photoshoot. You got your first dog? Boom—photoshoot! (I grew up watching Animal Planet every day, and you bet your bottom dollar I will be just as in love with your dog as you two are.)

You don’t have to wait until a birthday, anniversary, or holiday to be excited about the human you share your life with. They are your best friend! You’re ever-changing with them. Celebrate another day waking up with them by your side and how lucky you are to be with them. Celebrate making it through a tough year. Celebrate loving each other now more than you ever have.

Gosh, there are so many reasons to celebrate your love.

This person is YOUR person. They are your home.
